Fiona Grant

Let me first tell you a little about myself - my name is Fiona Grant. I was born in Ireland 1973 which is where I lived until I was twenty one. I was raised in a large family in Waterford City (where Waterford Crystal was founded) and went to University in Cork on the southwest of Ireland. After completing my degree in psychology and economics I decided it was time to discover what was outside the lovely, green world of Ireland.

I moved to Germany where I worked with Bank of America on an American Army Base. After gaining fabulous training and experience with Bank of America, I decided to focus more on the consumer finance side of the business, such as signature loans and car financing with lenders like Pentagon FCU, Chase, GMAC and Chrysler.

In 2001, I relocated to Italy, where I met my (then) boyfriend and (now) husband. Rick is an officer with the U.S Air Force and presently stationed at Nellis AB. This is the reason I now live in Las Vegas and thankfully my financial skills are well maintained, challenged and tantalized by the dynamic mortgage business.

I like to think that I’ve been successful as a mortgage broker because I do things a little bit different than the competition. My formula for superior customer service is simple: integrity, competence and compassion. While these core values should be standard across the board, I have found that unfortunately, this is not always the case. When making such a large and important decision as home financing, you can’t afford to deal with a dishonest broker.

My plans aside from business are to discover as many of the beautiful spots America has to offer. The many national parks and state parks are a pleasure to hike, ramble and scramble through. All I need is the time!
